This has been a great addition to my home. I enjoy being able to control it from my phone and how silent it is.

Still quite new, but love that the black color blends into the background of the room…unlike my previous white unit from another brand. Cleaner, sleek look as well. Easy to fill and very user friendly operation. Quiet, too.

As winter is approaching, it is definitely getting colder and dryer and I needed a humidifier to help remedy that. I have used a few DREO products and they have all been seamless to setup along with their app and auto functionality and this one definitely did not disappoint as well. The humidifier was bigger than I expected but has a more vertical profile. The reservoir isn't the biggest that I have used and is rather small but it does seem to disperse humidity across the room perfectly. The app picked it up almost instantly and I am able to monitor the humidity levels across the day and see how the levels go up/down.

We didn't like the humidifiers that spray moisture. This one is evaporative without the mist spray. It is exactly what we wanted and works great.

I live in Colorado where our humidity is naturally very low. Starting around this time each year, we turn our heater on and it stays on for the better part of six months. When heating my home, my humidity will drop inside to ~15% which results in dry skin and chapped lips. I previously installed a whole house humidifier which kind of works, but uses a ton of water and requires me to change the filters several times each season because we have very hard water. About five years ago, I began looking for a new humidifier to bolster the humidity in our bedrooms. We initially used the ultrasonic "cool mist" type of humidifiers but noticed after about three weeks that we were coughing more and our bedrooms were coated in a gross white dust. This dust was pervasive and was all over everything. Our picture frames, nightstands, and even curtains had a thin coat of this dust. It was making my allergy-sensitive son cough nonstop so we stopped using the humidifiers. In an effort to find a better alternative, I came across evaporative humidifiers. I purchased several smaller humidifiers for our bedrooms that worked so well that I came to Amazon to find one for larger spaces like our kitchen and living room. I already own several Dreo products, so when I found this humidifier, I ordered it immediately. Dreo strikes a nice balance of functionality and price. I own another brand's large humidifier for my basement but that humidifier was almost four times the price of this Dreo and doesn't have smart app functionality. The Dreo came well packaged with everything needed to start including the adapter and first filter. I unboxed it, added the Dreo app, and had this connected all within a few minutes of receiving the humidifier. Filling the humidifier was a bit confusing the first time - you basically have to disassemble the entire humidifier to get to the water tank. While this was weird the first time, I appreciate how easy that process makes to clean the water scale out of the tank. It's essentially wide open for cleaning which makes it hands down the easiest humidifier to clean out of the four I own. The humidifier looks inconspicuous and is quiet at normal levels and even at the highest level, it's pretty quiet when seated on my couch that's about 20 feet away. The LED indicators on top give a visual indicator to current humidity and water level. The app is fantastic - it allows simple adjustment and scheduling which I utilize to raise our humidity level at night when we're asleep and the furnace is running more. This helps level out the humidity in our home around the clock. I've found that by setting my humidity level at 45%, I fill the humidifier up every 36 hours or so. This humidifier checked all of my boxes for design and functionality. Best of all, there is absolutely zero white dust. The built-in app reminds me to clean the filter every hundred hours of use, and the reminders when I forget to fill the water tank are helpful but not annoying. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting a full-function evaporative humidifier that humidifies large areas quietly.

I ordered the smart evaporative humidifier for large rooms. This humidifier is easy to set up and use, though it does require set up via your WiFi and a downloaded Dreo app. I do wish there was a remote so I don’t have to use my phone to adjust the settings in the middle of the night. There is an instruction manual, but a quick start guide with illustrations is also included and appreciated. This humidifier has some neat features I have been exploring. I love the capacity for up to 1000ft2 and 10L of water. ***When you are not using the humidifier, and turn off the power, the default is to dry the wick prior to powering down. This feature lasts about 45 minutes, and the humidifier will appear to still be running. You can opt out of it, but I prefer to keep this helpful feature active. Just know that the humidifier will cut off when the wick is dry.*** Speaking of the wick, you can hand-wash it, or wash it in your washing machine. This is the first evaporative humidifier I have used and so far, I think I am going to love it. It works to humidify the air without leaving moisture on nearby surfaces. This humidifier comes with a scale inhibitor cartridge to reduce buildup of hard water and white dust. The app will notify when it needs a change. I also recommend that only RO, filtered, or distilled water be used to keep scale and dust down. This humidifier is relatively quiet and the controls are not overly bright, so they should not disturb your rest if using in a bedroom. This appears to be a good quality humidifier and so far, I have had no problems. I recommend this humidifier if you have a large area and/or want more time between fills.

This is a really nice humidifier works in small and large rooms doesn’t take up a lot of space isn’t very loud. You just fill up with water and turn it on.

This humidifier is bulky but really effective for big areas. I keep it in the middle of the house, and it’s been working great so far. I live in a dry area, and I didn’t realize how low the humidity was until I set this up. The app shows the humidity level and lets you set your target number. It automatically turns on and off to match that setting, which makes it super easy to use. The tank is big, so I don’t have to refill it often, but filling it and carrying it back can be a bit awkward. I also wish it had a warm mist option since it only does cool mist. The app is easy to use and even reminds you when it’s time to clean, and I like that the display on the device shows the humidity clearly even if you’re not using the app. Overall, it’s a really good humidifier that works quietly in the background. I just wish refilling was easier and it had a warm mist feature especially at this price.

Our century-old house in NE Ohio is heated with a hot/water radiator system and, to keep it comfortable in winter, we have kept ultrasonic humidifiers in several rooms. They work well but lead to a lot of white dust, as it is impractical to fill them with distilled water. That is why I thought this evaporative humidifier might be worth a try. It does solve the white dust problem but has a few issues of its own. The first one I encountered is the complexity of filling it with water. You cannot simply pour water into the top, as you can with some of our other units; you have to remove the large outer cover and the (probably damp) filter to access the water tank in the base of the unit. The outer cover has smooth sides and no obvious handle; it took me a while to notice that the display on top is formed so that it can serve as a handle. Reinstalling those components is fussy because both need to be properly oriented and carefully aligned. Also, the water level window in the base of the tank only shows the last gallon or so of the tank’s capacity. The controls on top are not intuitive and provide limited information. You better not lose the manual; you might not be able to use those controls without it. To power the unit on from the top panel, I had to hold the power button and wait patiently as the display counted down from 7 to 0. I struggled to change the fan speed from its initial high (and noisy) setting to one of the lower speeds. Also, most of our ultrasonic humidifiers can output warm mist, which does make the room more comfortable, but this DREO unit cannot. What saved this humidifier from a lower review is its app. Installing the app on my phone meant setting up an account, connecting that app to my Wi-Fi network, and letting DREO collect certain types of information about me. Some of our ultrasonic humidifiers let you use an app to access features beyond those available with the built-in controls, but they don’t require the app to do basic things. That said, the app makes controlling this DREO humidifier much easier. It lets you monitor the water level more accurately, set the humidity level more easily, see reminders for cleaning and more. This DREO unit does look more elegant than my other humidifiers and, as long as you use the app, it is not hard to operate. It is generally quiet enough in operation and does a good job maintaining a comfortable humidity level in the ~750 sq. ft. first floor of our house. I would give it a 4.5 star review if I could but there are enough niggling issues that I can’t justify a full 5 stars.

I ordered the DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier a little over a month ago and a I've used it every night since. I really wanted to see how it compared to the multiple other humidifiers I've used in the past. For some context I have allergic sinusitis, I'm constantly congested, have had sinus surgery and I struggle to breath in my house so humidifiers have been my lifeline. My favorite feature of this evaporative humidifier is the large water tank, its 10 liters and with constant use I only need to refill it about every 3 days. Other humidifiers I've owned need to be changed every night, but with this one I just rinse the water tank and refill it two-three times a week. The auto dry function is amazing, whenever I hit the off button it automatically dries the filter of any left over water which not only helps keeps bacteria from growing but prolongs the life of the humidifier. Its also extremely easy to take apart and clean which makes it much less of a chore. The top comes right up off the base, pull off the filters and just take the water tank into the bathroom for a rinse and wipe. I clean it everytime I refill it and it literally takes 2 minutes. It doesnt get any residue or white dust anywhere and as a germaphobe its made me never want to switch back to the other kinds of humidifiers. Even though this humidifier is large its super quiet, it really only makes noise when you turn it on or off and even then its fairly quiet. Once the unit circulates water through the filter it makes hardly any noise, level 3 makes a small fan noise but for anyone whos like me I actually enjoy a bit of white noise. I havent had a single complaint thus far, its keeping my large master bedroom between 50-60% humidity consistently. The app is very user friendly and I can see my humidifiers water level, set a timer, remotely turn it off and on as well as look at the humidity levels at any time. It can also be programmed to Alexa or Google to control all of those things as well. This is a top of the line humidifier comparable to ones that are double the price. Another thing I need to mention is that the filter is washable and doesnt need to be replaced which saves so much money in the long run. The DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier is functional, intuitive and I've been nothing short of impressed with its performance, if you're looking for a humidifier for a large room or open layout this one works great and has all the bells and whistles you can ask for. I would absolutely recommend and try other DREO products in the future, easy 5 stars from me!

I need to run a humidifier in my house during the fall and winter to avoid insane amounts of static buildup, and up to this point I’ve used another smaller humidifier with not nearly the same features, this is on a whole other level. First of all the capacity of this humidifier is great, doesn’t require refilling as often, and has a really large filter to make sure to minimize contaminants. The screen is really easy to read, but can be turned off for sleeping. The ability for it to try to maintain a certain humidity level is really nice, and it goes to a higher percentage than others I’ve used, just make sure you’re not leaving it at the maximum setting for too long or you risk mustyness and mold in your room. You can access all the features via an app which makes it that much easier to use, and you can even integrate it with home automation tools. The efficiency seems to be great with this device, and i think it’s worth every penny.

DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier is an a highly effective humidifier. This runs quietly without being obnoxious. It pairs well with my Dyson air purifier. The humidifier doesn't set off the purifiers alarms. The air in my home feels comfortable. I love that the filter is reusable and washable. Water doesn't leak out of the tank. This doesn't leave white dust or droplets. Easy to use. The app is a bonus! Makes using a joy. Excellent value!

I love this humidifier, it is very intuitive and user friendly, and has very easy settings to control with an app on your phone. You can set it to a timer, or you can only allow it to humidify the room to a certain percentage of humidity. There is no smell when using this but you can feel the moisture in the air, and the sound of the fan helps me sleep better at night. There are different levels for the fan though, so you can choose to have it blowing more or less. The quality is definitely amazing, best humidifier I've personally had, and easily worth the money. I highly recommend it

It is SO hard to find a large capacity modern evap humidifier, and I dont know why.. The few I could find are either crazy expensive or just really not very good. I have had great luck with DREO products so I was excited to order this. I havent used it much since I only need humidifiers in the winter when my furnace runs and dries the heck out of the air, but so far so good. Evap humidifiers are a must if you have hard water like I do. They dont work as well as ultrasonics, but the "white dust" you get with hard water and ultrasonics can be more than just an annoyance.. It gets EVERYWHERE, sometimes damaging things.. I had a nice projector that "fogged up" deep inside the optics due to the white dust. So deep it was not at a repairable level and I was out an expensive piece of tech. I cant do anything about my hard water so I had to just go without proper humidity till I found this. Looking forward to using it through this winter so my eyes and nose arent constantly so dry.

This is a great option for a large room humidifier and a good price at only $165. This is whisper quiet, my bedside humidifier had a higher noise output than this. It is both lightweight and sturdy at the same time, so I am not afraid of early breakage. This does a great job of adding humidity to the room, however does not coat the immediate area in mist droplets which is nice. Cleaning is a little tricky because of the compact size of the unit, but not enough to put me off getting again. The tank is smaller than other units, so will require more frequent fills if you are used to the massive ones. All in all this is a great buy.

This Dreo humidifier has genuinely improved the air quality in my home. It does a great job of covering my 1000 sq ft space, delivering a steady stream of moisture without any mess. The 10L tank means it can run for up to 50 hours, which means less frequent refills. Using the DREO app is convenient, allowing me to control the humidity from my phone. The no-mist feature is particularly nice; it keeps my surfaces dry and prevents white dust from forming. The smart humidity control has been accurate, maintaining a comfortable level in the room. Setting up the initial connection to Wi-Fi was mostly straightforward. Overall, the humidifier offers great value for the money, especially with its features and functionality. I expect excellent longevity out of it as Dreo is a quality brand.

I recently upgraded my space with the DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier, and I have to say—it’s a total game-changer. Covering up to 1000ft², this beast provides high-output humidity at 800ml/h, which means dry air is no longer an issue, whether you’re working, sleeping, or taking care of your plants. The 10-liter tank is massive, allowing for a 50-hour runtime, so you can set it and forget it without constantly refilling. I also love the precise humidification feature—it keeps the air at the perfect level without feeling damp or over-saturated. The black, sleek design blends seamlessly with my bedroom and office décor, making it as stylish as it is functional. Overall, the DREO Smart Humidifier isn’t just another gadget; it’s a reliable companion for a healthier, more comfortable living space. Whether you’re looking to protect your plants, improve sleep, or just breathe easier, this humidifier delivers every time. Rating: ★★★★★

So far I am happy with this Humidifier... I haven't hit the winter months yet, when I really need it, but so far, so good. I was surprised by the size of it - 24"x10"! But it has a pleasant neutral appearance. It is heavy to move around (the machine itself isn't light) and then when you add 10L of water - it gets really heavy! So I wish it had a handle and was on wheels to make it easier to move from room to room. The company says, compared to competitors, that you can use tap-water. I happen to have reverse osmosis - but it is nice to be able to use tap water if you don't have RO. And I like that I can fill it up every-other day and I don't have to do it every day. I can hear it - but it isn't disturbing - kind of like the sound of a small fan. I don't know how often I will need to replace the filters. They say you can machine/hand wash them - so hopefully they will last for a while. In sum - yup - I would recommend! I just need to use it a bit longer for my full review.

I've only used smaller humidifiers that had to constantly be refilled, so I was really excited to get this large one. It takes about two and a half gallons to fill it, and it will run about 2 days on that. I used distilled water, and so it's not going to be practical for me to go through that amount of bottled water to keep it running all of the time. I will likely just run in a few hours at a time instead. It does make some noise, but it's not loud. It's a bit quieter than my air purifier. It puts out such a fine mist compared to other humidifiers, which I really like because nothing feels damp. It's a large size but it fits nicely in a corner and doesn't take up too much space. It's easy to operate and works well so far. I really like that the filter is washable.

Intro impression: The DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier combines large capacity with great mist output — designed for living rooms and bedrooms alike. Usage experience: Setup was quick, and the 10L tank runs for days before needing a refill. The app control is convenient, letting you adjust humidity and fan speed remotely. The unit is a bit tall, but that’s the tradeoff for capacity. Pros: • Huge 10L tank • App and voice control • Consistent mist output • Energy efficient Cons: • Large footprint • Needs space for airflow Bottom line: Ideal for big rooms or all-day humidifying. Great performance with a smart design.

First and foremost this is an evaporative humidifier. It is not ultrasonic so you don't get the white dust you do with ultrasonics. You are also not required to use distilled water (to reduce white dust). With this style you do however have to replace wicks. Dreo sells both the wicks and a cartridge to extend the life of the wicks. I personally think replacing wicks is easier than cleaning scale out of a boiling humidifier. This is an excellent quality smart humidifier as are all of dreo products. I'd say this is a medium plus to large size. But it's rated for a thousand square feet. It's easy to fill you can just pour the water in. Definitely improves sleep quality especially in the winters of the North. Haven't noticed any strong plastic smells coming out of it. It smells kind of clean. Paired well to the app and it also works with both Google home and Alexa. Absolutely recommend.

The humidifier came in perfect condition and included assembly and operating instructions. It is easy to assemble and fill with water (I used distilled). The instructions for the app are straightforward, though I prefer just to use the controls on the unit. The controls work easily, and the drying cycle was easy to use. The fan noise is noticeable but not intrusive. There's a big water reservoir. It's convenient and easy to set up.

My previous humidifier did not have filters and lasted for years. I loved it but it went kaput after a winter season of colds. I’d been looking for a replacement but didn’t find anything to interest me. This one is larger than my old one. I was surprised by the size. But it does cover a much larger area than my old humidifier. It doesn’t make too much noise, but it is not silent. That’s okay though. I like white noise when I’m sleeping. CONS: I fell for the filter is reusable line. It’s reusable for three months and then it should be replaced. And the wick should be replaced monthly. I went to the Dreo website and could not find the filter for this humidifier so I don’t know how much it costs. An exterior handle for lifting would be nice. It does glide across the floor, but if I wanted to move it from one room to another a handle would be more convenient. 3.5 - 4 STARS: Setup is relatively easy. I didn’t set up the app because it’s not necessary for me. I've got enough apps. The humidifier works well. To be honest, if I’d known the filters and wicks needed replacing, I wouldn’t have selected this humidifier.

The quality feels nice , it's a good size and has pretty good weight to it . Not meaning it's heavy but in the sense that its well made . It's not cheap and doesn't feel cheap . I like the size , it's definitely made for a larger room . The humidity is most free which I like , there's no unnecessary wetness . Fir the size it's pretty quiet . You know it's running of course but it's not loud or obnoxious . It won't interrupt your calls , TV watching or anything . I love that it doesn't have an odor , it's really clean smelling . And that's a huge plus for me giveny allergies . The cool thing about it is it also works with Alexa and it's app controlled . You can set it before you arrive at home or check on it if you think you may have accidentally left it on . The tank size is great because you'll get a long run time out of it , easily over a full day . I could even see paying more for an item like this but fir everything you get it's priced perfectly . This is a great deal

This humidifier works well and looks decent in your living space. Compared to an older Honeywell unit that we have with similar capacity, it looks SO much better. The large capacity is awesome as well. It seems to do a good job humidifying - we typically use these all winter long and so this is a bit early to tell but so far it seems to be a good unit. The noise level is fine - I think it is fairly quiet, though our older unit had some rattles that would probably make anything seem like an upgrade. The app and smart features are cool, nice to control via an app but I also don't find these things to be dealbreakers.

I’m so glad I upgraded to this humidifier. It’s powerful but completely mist-free, so I don’t have to worry about wet furniture or white dust on surfaces. The air feels fresher, and my plants and skin are definitely happier. The 10-liter tank is a huge plus—it runs for days without refilling. The smart app and voice control make it really convenient to adjust humidity levels or check the status right from my phone. I also love that the filter is washable, which saves money on replacements. It’s quiet, efficient, and keeps the room at a steady humidity level all night.

UPDATE AFTER A MONTH OF USE: Still love this, and have actually purchased another (replacing an older, still working great, Dreo) for our master. I just feel much healthier with this model, and I LOVE The way the “air feels”!. The only thing that I didn’t mention originally is that this is a little harder to fill vs straight top fill models, as I have to lift up the whole cover (easy with one hand) to fill it with a pitcher (using the other hand). ➡️ ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM A MONTH AGO…. TLDR: A+ Evaporative humidifier (which for me is healthier than ultrasonic humidifiers, no white dust!), but buy the replacement cartridges and filter here at the same time, or sign up for subscription deliveries of those items through the Dreo app. The Dreo app is solid and adds a lot of value to this humidifier. No weird data harvesting either. Functions well, and keeps my great room in comfortable humidity range. ➡️ NOW THE LONG FORM REVIEW (At least I warned you...) Humidifiers make a huge difference to the comfort of our home as dry air is really uncomfortable. I have a couple Dreo humidifiers that I've used for a couple years now, and I love the app. I'm only going to focus on two things in this review, why I think an evaporative humidifier is healthier for me and my family versus n ultrasonic humidifier, and the Dreo app. ➡️ I THINK THE KEY THING TO KNOW ABOUT THIS HUMIDIFIER IS THAT IT'S EVAPORATIVE, NOT ULTRASONIC. Most room size humidifiers sold today are Ultrasonic. Whole house humidifiers installed as part of your heating system typically are Evaporative, just FYI. ➡️ HOW THEY WORK: EVAPORTAIVE VS. ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFERS ➜ ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFERS (THIS ONE ISN'T ULTRASONIC): ✅ Use high-frequency vibrations to create fine mist (which you can see). ✅ Are silent ⚠️ Usually cause white dust unless used with distilled water or water treated through an RO process. ➜ EVAPORTAIVE HUMIDIFIERS (LIKE THIS ONE) ✅ Use a wet wick filter + fan to evaporate water into the air. ⭐ Mist-free operation, no visible vapor, no wet surfaces. ✅ No ultrasonic vibrations, so it doesn’t aerosolize minerals. ⭐ White dust is minimized because minerals stay in the wick or are trapped by the scale-inhibitor cartridge. ➡️ TRADE-OFFS FOR ELIMIATING UNHEALTHY WHITE DUST IF YOUR DON'T HAVE AN RO WATER SYSTEM IN YOUR HOME. ✅ I think the key thing to me (other than keeping humidifiers clean and slime free) is Eliminating White Dust. That white dust isn't just annoying, it’s PM2.5 particulate matter, which can be harmful to breathe in, especially for babies or anyone with respiratory sensitivities. ⚠️ With an ultrasonic humidifier, the only way to elimiate white dust is to use water without calcium and magnesium. To get that water, you either have to be be lucky and have an RO water system in your home (I'm not that lucky), or to buy distilled water, which is a huge pain, not to mention expensive. ✅ With this Evaporative humidifier, no white dust when using our tap water. Yay!! ⚠️ The downside is that both the mesh filter and the demineralization cartridge (which removes the calcium and magnesium from the water) need to be replaced periodically. (The app tells you when each of these need to be replaced. I've been using this for weeks and no notification yet...) ➡️ THE MESH FILTERS ARE AVAILABLE HERE, AT ABOUT $20 FOR ONE. THE CARTRIDGES ARE $20 FOR 3, BUT MAKE SURE YOU PICK THE ONES FOR THE RIGHT MODEL HUMIDIFIER (774S). ✅ So the bottom line for me for a white-dust-free experience is (multiple choice question): 💲💲💲 Put in an RO Water System in my home. (My SO laughs hysterically.) ⛔ Use an Ultrasonic humidifier, and lug home jugs of distilled water. (Tried that, really not fun) ⭐ Get this sweet AND smart Evaporative humidifier and occasionally swap out the filter and mineralization cartridge. You can guess which option I picked. HERE'S THE SCOOP ON THE APP ➡️ APP WITH OR WITHOUT ALEXA CONTROL You can control the humidifier three ways: - Buttons on the device - Dreo app - Alexa (via Dreo skill) Note, this doesn't come with a remote, but I never use my remotes for humidifiers anyway when the have good buttons on the device plus an app. ✅ The Dreo app is one of the better small appliance apps I’ve used. It only requires an email address to register, no phone number, no invasive permissions. I used a throwaway email just in case, and I’ve had zero weird spam or sketchy follow-ups. That alone earns points. ✅ The app lets me set schedules, and define a humidity comfort range (low and high thresholds). ✅ Once linked with Alexa, I can turn it on/off with voice commands. Setup was easy: the Dreo app walks you through linking Alexa and enabling the skill. ➡️ EASTER EGG FOR APP-HATERS I get it, another app that does nothing but harvest my personal info? No thanks. (I once bought a facial brush that wouldn’t even turn on without downloading its app. Hard pass.) But the Dreo app actually gives me something useful: cleaning alerts, catridge replacement alerts, runtime tracking, and scheduling. That’s why I use it. ➡️ LAST THOUGHTS If you care about wellness or just want a smart appliance that actually earns its “smart” label, this is a good one. I really like it. But if you buy this, I'd get the replacement mineralization cartridges at the same time so you have those on hand when you need them. Also, thanks for reading all the end to this long review.

This Dreo humidifier has been amazing from the start. Setup took just a few minutes, and connecting it to the app was super easy — everything worked right away. I really like the auto-drying feature since it keeps the filter clean and low-maintenance. The app notifications are a nice touch too — it even warns me when the water level is getting low before it runs out overnight. It puts out a ton of moisture quietly and keeps the air comfortable without feeling damp. I’ve tried a few humidifiers before, but this one is easily the most convenient and well-designed. Highly recommend.

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 1 MONTH OF USE: CONS: Don't let the cons dissuade you from this unit. I'm just laying cards on the table. I still gave this unit a hearty 4 stars. My biggest complaint is complexity of use. The controls aren't intuitive. The phone app and top panel controls are confusing. The instructions are very limited. I was able to get it up and running, but it took a bit of trial and error. The filter price seems a bit high at $20, but it seems to last longer and work better than other filters I've used. PROS: TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I contacted them with missives, they had a VERY customer-centric, super-helpful attitude. Best customer service department ever. I do like that the filter is washable. Is it a quality humidifier? The quality is top-notch. Does it do the job? I solved the complexity issue by ignoring the programming aspect and treated it like most other humidifiers on the market. I set the fan to 1 and the unit to "constantly run". At that setting it kept the room fully humidified. Even in deepest winter (which I haven't come across yet), I expect I can just jump the fan up to 2 or 3 and should do fine. One thing I REALLY LIKE is the water level meter on the top. It's a large blue LED ring that leaves no question as to when it's time to re-fill the humidifier. That's a useful and nice design. Oh, and NO WHITE DUST like is constantly emitted by every ultrasonic / cool mist humidifier on the market. This is EVAPORATIVE, so the humidity is clean and dust-free. The noise level is very low on a setting of 1, and even on three is a soothing "white noise". No unpleasant unbalanced fan noises, overall the sound is quite reasonable... far less noisy than a standard small household fan. So regardless of the caveats, when used as an "always on" humidifier this does a far better job than any other humidifier I've ever owned. That fact that it can hold almost 3 gallons of water is a big plus. So I'm giving it 4 stars... and consider the company itself an absolute winner. I'd buy from DREO again.

Nice compact size for the amount of space it can humidify. It’s very easy to setup and the app is helpful. It’s pretty quiet for the amount of work it is doing. The mist is very fine and so far doesn’t leave any residue. It’s very easy to take apart and clean even the filter. It’s aesthetically nice and looks good in our room. So far it’s working great, feels well made and that it should last a long time!

Recommended by my doctor, I have needed a humidifier for some time. While looking through the models on Amazon I chose this one as it can service a large size room. This humidifier is perfect, no more dry nose bleeds!

Super awesome Humidifier. I have placed this in my living room. The top pulls off (no locking mechanism - my only complaint). This makes it very easy to fill water, but it will spill if it gets pushed over. It has many settings to control the unit, and it keeps track of water level and filter percentage. It has a setting to dry the washable filter after it turns off, which is great. The air that comes out looks and feels like normal air, so it's hard to tell that any water is evaporating, but it is happening because the water level goes down. I went with this because I don't have purified water, so I just use sink water. The filter works great and doesn't put any bad particles in the air (I measured it). My favorite humidifier ever!

This humidifier works very well and I have been really pleased with how consistent it performs. I like that it does not create a visible mist like ultrasonic units do. Instead it uses a fan that draws air through a wick, and that style works much better for my environment because it raises the humidity gradually without oversaturating the air. With my previous humidifiers I used to find condensation on the floor or nearby furniture, but with this one everything stays dry even when I run it on high. The 10 liter tank lasts a long time and I can easily get through two full days without refilling, which makes it really low maintenance. The noise level is surprisingly quiet for a unit that moves this much air and I can sleep comfortably with it running in the bedroom. I also appreciate that it is WiFi controllable because it integrates nicely with my phone and lets me adjust the humidity level or turn it on before I get home. The app is easy to use and shows the current humidity in real time, which helps me dial things in for my plants or when the air feels too dry. I even set a schedule so it automatically runs more at night and slows down during the day. The build quality feels solid and the filter is easy to access when it needs cleaning. After using it for a while I can say it has made the indoor air noticeably more comfortable without adding any dampness or mess.

I collect guitars and they are very dependant on a steady level of humidity. In my case, the target humidity is 45% and wild fluctuations are not good for the instruments. This new Dreo humidifier checks off a few important boxes. First, it is large enough to allow filling every other day (I'd still like to see it have a bit more capacity). The controls are easy to use and I LOVE the app. I've probably run a dozen different humidifiers in that room and never has an app let me maintain as consistent a level of humidity as this one. It's easy to use. The unit is also VERY quiet! One complaint is that it is hard to tell where to fill it up to. You have to take off the top to access the water reservoir. It is not clearly marked where the fill level is - I'm still trying to figure that out. I much prefer top-loaded humidifiers. A nice feature of the app is that if gives you the water level! It also uses a power adapter for power rather than a straight power cord. Not my favorite way to power-up, but it seems to work pretty effectively. Other than the refill issue, I'd give this "5 Stars".

The humidifier is for larger spaces so it is large as well. It's 2 feet tall by 10 inches wide so it takes up some space when in use and when not. It's easy to fill up but not so easy to move around. You have to grab this underneath the bottom to pick it up or else you'll just take part of the humidifier with you as it pulls apart very easily. There's not handles or anything to make moving it easy. Tip it from the top and grab underneath it to move. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. The touch buttons are nice, easy to toggle but I also don't love them as someone who has cats that enjoy climbing on everything so they do trigger buttons like this at times. The mist free humidifier is great, less worry about whats around the humidifier and it getting damaged by moisture with this. The price is steep for me, but definitely worth it on sale. Well made, trustworthy brand. The filter is washable which I love, this needs to be more common.

I recently got the DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier for my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with its performance. Here are some key points that really stood out to me: 1. Effective Humidification: This humidifier impressively covers a large area of up to 1000 square feet. With a high output of 800ml/h, it quickly delivers the balanced humidity I've been looking for, especially during dry months. The mist-free technology is a fantastic feature for someone prone to dust allergies, as it avoids the messy surfaces and white dust common with many humidifiers. 2. Smart Features: The integration with the DREO app and compatibility with Alexa are game changers. I can easily control the humidity levels from my phone or adjust settings using voice commands. The ability to set it to Auto Mode and the precise 5% humidity accuracy means I can maintain my ideal environment effortlessly. 3. Large Capacity and Runtime: The 10-liter tank allows for up to 50 hours of continuous operation, which means I don't have to constantly refill it. This extended runtime is especially convenient for busy days or during the night. 4. Ease of Maintenance: The washable filter is a standout feature. I appreciate that I can either wash it by hand or toss it in the washing machine for easy care. Additionally, the dry mode is a thoughtful touch that helps prolong the filter's lifespan. 5. Quiet Operation: I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this unit operates. It runs smoothly in the background without disrupting my daily activities or sleep, which is a big plus for a bedroom setting. 6. Design: The sleek black design of the humidifier blends seamlessly with my home decor. It doesn't take up much space, and the digital display is easy to read and understand. In summary, the DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier has exceeded my expectations in both functionality and design. Whether you’re looking to improve air quality for your plants, maintain comfort at home, or create a conducive office environment, I wholeheartedly recommend this product. It's a solid investment in your well-being and comfort.

Lately, the air in California has been super dry, and my skin and sinuses have been feeling it. I picked up the DREO Smart Evaporative Humidifier to help with that, and it’s been a solid addition to my home. The 10-liter tank and long runtime mean I don’t have to refill it constantly, which is a big plus. It’s impressively quiet, so I can leave it running overnight while I sleep or during the day while I’m working without being distracted. The smart features are handy too — I can adjust the humidity from my phone or with Alexa, which is great for staying comfortable without getting up all the time. It’s not perfect. The design is simple and won’t really stand out as decor, and occasionally the app takes a few seconds longer to respond than I’d like. But for me, that’s a minor trade-off. Overall, it really makes a difference in this dry weather. My sinuses feel less irritated, my skin is a bit happier, and the air just feels more comfortable. If you’re dealing with dry indoor air, especially in California right now, this humidifier does exactly what you want.

I already have a 5 liters capacity humidifier in my bedroom but decided to get the largest water capacity possible humidifier for our room as it gets pretty dry here in my city. I am glad I ended up with this product. This product does its job very well. Further comments are below: Things I like about this product: - The primary feature is the large tank capacity of 10 liters and so you don't have to refill this often - Humidifier mist works instantly & has a good mist generation capacity. There are multiple mist settings to choose from - Easy to refill water, however, the slot to fill water could have been wider to fill the large tank quickly - Super easy to assemble and start using it within 2 minutes of assembly - Humidifier is quite enough for night use - Control panel has all information and is easy to use - Smart feature and connects with alexa seamlessly - Design is well done & it looks classy for sure - Overall build quality is good and feels durable - Very reasonably priced in the competition for the features it offers Things that need improvement: - Base doesn't have rollers to move around easily. You will have to lift and take and so I would recommend moving before you fill the water in these - There is no warm/hot mist option as I have in my current one. However, I can live with it as we rarely used warm mode Overall take: Considering the both pros and cons, I would recommend this humidifier.

Beside this model I also have the HM311S which is the ultrasonic version, not the evaporative style as this one being reviewed. The app is shared by both units, just select the one you want to view by selecting that model at the top left hand side of the screen. I use RO water in the ultrasonic one to minimize the white dust and air quality issues. Please note if using an air filtration unit with air quality monitoring, it will go nuts picking up the airborne dust particulates. Using RO or distilled water eliminates this problem, also with the ultrasonic you can still use essentials oils without issue. Note: That I haven't tested many different brands so just a word of caution, they may not be created the same. This model allows you to use tap, soft, RO, filtered and distilled water without the white dust particles and therefore NOT effecting your air purifier. I use both units in my living room which is 600 sq. ft., 16 ft. vaulted ceilings, a connected hallway and master bedroom to maintain a comfortable 48% humidity. This is while running my AC at 73 degrees. One last note, I use soft water in this unit thereby reducing the the mineral built up on the washable filter.

I knew this humidifier would be big, but I didnt realize how large it would stand until I received it. This humidifier is great for a large space or a living area space. I use this for my plant room, the sun room. This produces enough humidity for an entire room that evenly discusses without having to have tiny ones placed around the room. My previous humidifier was a Dreo as well, it connects to my wifi and Bluetooth. I can use this from my phone and set it to certain temps, speed, temperature and production of humidity. Overall it is pricey, but it definitely compares to other humidifiers in this same size.
