It blows my mind (and my har)how much air this moves, and it is essentially silent. You can hear the air movement more than the fan itself. Five stars, I should’ve gotten one of these things sooner. It’s allowed me to use less of my central air-conditioning. I used to put my thermostat on 75 and now I can put it on 77 and with this fan, just on level one, I’m comfortable.

Fan was packaged well and very easy to take out and simple installation of the base. Fan is very quiet even on the 9th speed. Was really impressed by the distance that the fan moves the air. I've had other oscillating fans in the past but none as quiet or powerful as this one. So much more substantial than I imagined.

This is the second DREO fan that I’ve purchased for myself. I love these fans! One is in my small living room. I love how quietly it runs, regardless of the fan setting. My cat loves it as well - has two favorite spots to lay in the living room, both in front of “her” fan. I have a smaller DREO fan in the bedroom. Again, love the number of settings and how very quiet it is. Both fans are easy to clean. I’ve had many compliments on both the quality of the fan and how well it circulates. My orders have always been delivered promptly. The instruction booklet enclosed is very easy to use in learning about the different speeds and settings. I highly recommend DREO fans!

It is uber quiet, has a timer for limited used, discharges chilly air, display shuts off after sittin it, no annoying lights which have to be shielded by clothing, as well as being extremely energy efficient. This is my second 518 tower fan. My husband kept stealing mine to put in his office. It’s whisper quiet,, super powerful, and great looking. I don’t even take it apart to clean. I just use the leaf blower and blow the dust off once a month outside and it works like a dream. Highly recommend!

This fan is so quiet and puts out a good cooling air flow, even on the lower settings. The A/C doesnt cut it sometimes and this is a nice addition to keeping the whole room cool. I'm a hot sleeper and this helps.
This is the best fan we ever had. Blows cold across the room at full speed. Very quiet and I only keep it on number 2 speed at night. It is still blowing cool air. It was 90 degrees and our air conditioner wasn’t plugged in yet. I’m not crazy about loud annoying air conditioners. The fan kept me very comfortable and actually chilly. We just ordered another one. Highly recommend and I am very picky about my appliances. If they don’t work, they go back the next day.

If there is one thing I hate, it is dealing with the heat of Kentucky in Spring and Summer. While we have a portable A/C unit for better cooling on our second story, my husband and I both hate setting it up, especially for just cooling off our home office. With our old tower fan dying, we decided to try the DREO Tower Fan since it seemed powerful enough to do what we needed, and I loved its sleek design, size, and neutral color. First off, I have to say I loved how easy it was to set up outside the box. Other than putting the stand together (two pieces), it was just plug it in and go. One of the reasons we also chose this exact fan (over the more expensive ones) was that it didn't have an app but just a remote. With my husband caring deeply about security, this put it above the competition because he did not want another app or a potential security risk in our household. The fact that the company gives you that choice was a major privacy win in our book. As for the fan itself, it has been absolutely perfect and may already be the best tower fan we have owned. It is extremely stable (this was tested when one of our malamutes bumped into it). It is also very easy to adjust, using either the built-in console or the remote. The fan's power is also fantastic. We have it in the doorway to our home office with multiple gaming computers, and it has made the room so much more comfortable. I also thought it was fairly quiet, even on its highest settings. Overall, with its stability, versatility, and look, I considered it a great value for the money.
