Very clear instructions. We replaced a unit that we lost ability to control. Now in one app we control our ceiling fan and two pedestal fans. Plenty of light for our split entry home. We normally set the light to a warm setting at about 60% to get the same result as our old unit. We use the RGB ring to light the hall at night. Would like to see a flush mount ceiling light with the same capabilities.

Very easy to install. Love the app. Love the different speeds. The motor is very powerful at full speed. The unit is super quiet. I also love the RGB ring and I like keeping just the RGB ambient light ring on for different moods.

Very impressed. I never heard of Dreo so I was taking a bit of a chance. The product box was very sturdy and thick. All of the parts were individually wrapped in soft padding plus embedded in high-density styrofoam - Big plus when shipping with delivery companies who toss boxes onto my doorstep. Then the instructions were written by an English speaking person. Proper use of grammar and very clear and concise instructions had me feeling confident. I followed the instructions to a T. Everything went well from upacking to linking the fan to my phone via the Dreo app. Only two negatives: 1. When I went to use the thumbturn screws to secure tha blades, it would rub against part of the blade housing. Not too bad, but it interfered with my ability to verify if the thumbturn was fully secured. 2. RGB controls on the app and remote are not as intuitive as I have seen. I've used LIFX, Philips, Chromcast, etc., and they were all easy to change the color options and brightness. This app makes you choose a very small icon which brings you to another screen where finally you can select your color - but you can only choose "preview" or "set color". I don't want to do either, I just want to move my finger to choose a color and do the same for the brightness. This is only day one, so I might have to learn how to use it some more. All-in-all, I am very happy with the installation. If you are picky about blade material, you might not like the plastic blades. I don't mind since you can't tell from that height plus it makes the whole thing a lot lighter. What a great idea for installing the blades one-by-one after the housing is mounted to the ceiling. It's a game changer for guys like me who don't have help. That's why I paid for this fan and I've already bought three more. One for each room.

Love this product, especially with the connectivity to Alexa. It’s very reasonably priced as well. It also does a great job of keeping my living room cool, including during the summer. The RGB lighting is a nice touch.
Installed the first in the master bedroom, the second and third in the living room. The fourth and fifth will go into the dining room and downstairs office this weekend. Waiting for the delivery of sixth and seventh next week for the upstairs guest bedrooms.
Great features and strong movement of air.
This fan is incredible. It's super quiet. It can have a gentle breeze or a small tornado depending on how strong you turn it on. I put it on the highest setting and it literally blew a throw blanket off my bed. I have no idea why someone would need something that creates a helicopter strength wind tunnel in your room, but it's nice to have the option. The LED ring is nice. The main light adjusts from warm to brilliant white. I like warm light, so this is nice. I can control it with my phone. It's hooked up to my smart home device. The remote is pretty intuitive. It's great!

My husband handled the physical installation without any issues. Once it was up, connecting the fan to the smart app was a completely smooth and hassle-free process. The app itself is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Lighting & Smart Features The lighting options on this fan are absolutely awesome, and the RGB ambient lighting is easily my favorite feature. The colors are incredibly vibrant, and having the ability to easily tune and dim the lights right from the app completely transforms the feel of the room. Performance & Noise I am highly impressed with how well this fan actually cools the room. For a low-profile design, it moves significantly more air than I expected. I love the light and fan the rgb light are my favorite. It has a remote, you can dim the lights and change the fan speed. Easy to install and looks amazing
Extremely easy to install. The light is surprisingly bright (I rarely need it above 10%) and the accent light makes for a great night light. The "fan noise" is nearly non-existent. Best still, it works with the Google Home platform. I have the fan installed in my kitchen and it's a game changer to use my voice when preparing dinner to turn on/off the fan/light when my hands are busy.
**April 2nd, fan is still running flawlessly. The schedules work great within the dreo app **March 1st update (5 stars). New fan running without noise. 1st fan did not start until roughly 2 weeks but defects happen to the even the best manufacturers. Sucks to have to do twice but 2nd time was even faster. About 20 minutes total, opening box included. Original review. (2 stars) Installation was really simple. The blade installation was such an improvement over older models/brands. Unfortunately the wood finish had a noticeable blemish, should not have made it past QA. The ambient light is a nice addition. I had no problems with the remote/app/alexa setup all worked flawlessly. The main light is plenty bright and dims nicely. Color options allow you to pick your preference. Currently, it's making a clicking sound. Just enough to be distracting and annoying. Will take a closer look at it and if I can't fix it (likely the motor itself) I'll get an exact replacement while I'm still in the return window. **also, people complain about the fan ramping up to a higher speed on start-up, this is by design and meant to extend motor life instead of straining to get up to speed slowly.** - Will update if I get a fan that doesn't click.-
We replaced a ceiling fan that had led lighting that couldnt be replaced. So we went with this one. It looks nice, works well, easiest fan install weve done, and you can buy replacement light if needed.

Very nice, pretty durable too. All the positive things said about these, quiet, powerful, great lighting so on. All true. can attest to the durability as well, my wife picked up a 2x4x8 (we just bought the house, and I had been doing other repairs)... I saw what was about to happen from across the room... imagine me waving my hands as the slo-mo words fell from my mouth "Nooo, waaiii...*Crack... crack,crack,crack" as the 2x4 she picked up, pointing it towards the ceiling, slammed into the 1 hour old fan blades on highest speed. Now also imagine my surprise when there wasn't a single scratch on any of the blades. Very durable =)

DREO fans. You can't go wrong on these fans. We have upright towers by DREO all over the house and this ceiling fan was a new addition. They are extremely well made. The color when spinning is fine. Personally, I would have preferred an all white option, but in all reality when it's on, you can't tell that it has the light wood tone and white edges. (And if you prefer, the same fan is available to purchase with darker wood tone and black edging blades)! The functionality of these fans are amazing. They are so quiet and even at the highest setting, you will not really notice them. The size of the ceiling fan is a perfect fit for the room too. The center light has multiple settings for light from 2700 to 6500K light levels and dimmable on each level. To add to the trill, it also has an RGB ring around the light that is changeable and can be on with or without the main light. Added fun! As far as value, yes, they are a little bit more expensive than several of their competitors, but these fans are such a fabulous value for their slightly higher cost, you will thank yourself in the long run for purchasing one (or many in our case - we are 100% sold on the DREO Fan line)!
I’ve been using this fan for close to a year now without any issues. The fan is very quiet but puts out a lot of air flow. Papers will fly from the next room over if it’s turned up all the way. The app makes it super convenient to change settings. I hardly ever use my remote. The RGB gives the room a nice vibe at night. I do like that I can set a schedule for the light to come on when I get home, but I hardly use that feature. It was also easy to install myself. It is pretty expensive, but it is well worth the investment.
I purchased two of these fans for bedrooms in our home. I will be honest they were not easy to install and I ended up calling in professional help. But all in all I am happy with the purchase.
It's wonderful I love it
It is only four days in, but I love this fan. It was a little wonky to install -- the instructions didn't always seem to match up -- but between the two of us we got it installed. It is whisper-quiet, and it can be controlled by a phone app or a slimline remote, all of which were important to me. And it works so well it has kept our house cool during recent 95+ degree days without having to turn up the AC. Despite my initial disappointment at first at blades being plastic, the fan looks great and has a more modern appearance that is not as readily available in wood at the same price point. And it definitely seems sturdy, again as evidenced by its noiseless operation even at the highest of its 6 speeds. The remote and app allow several light settings as well as the ability to reverse flow and set a timer for operation. This is a great deal at this price. Here's hoping we get a lot of use out of it!

I cannot love these any more. They're sleek. Modern, easy to install. And best of all. Powerful. The wind flow is amazing, I have two of these. Not only that. Being able to control them from my phone is a lifesaver. And you can set schedules. The fans are off while sleeping and turn on when I wake up. And you can barely hear them over normal daily life activities
Should be listed as the 5 minute fan! Reason being is this thing installed so fast the only other thing that could make it faster is push connectors for the wiring. Fan was very well balanced, didn't require the balancing kit. They include mounting screws for the direct to wood install, but no machine screws for box installation. I would liked to seen additional screws for a box installation. Very user friendly fan. I have other products by them so the app is great for this unit. Remote is equally great too. Light is bright with the option to change color spectrum. RGB is fun , as well convenient for when low light ambient light is wanted an you really don't want to just dim the main light. Plastic fan blades produce some of the best airflow from a fan I've felt so far. This is one of those you get what you pay for, and a reason it's not half the price!
